He was killed at about 8pm on Friday, in front of his shrine, as the suspects took to their heels after the dastardly act. He was said to be an expert in preparing charms for cultists in the area, which they use for protection against rival cut group(s) during clashes.
His son , Nwabueze Onukpa alleged that one Abacha, parity and their gang killed his father. He reported the matter to Ohaukwu police division and the development center coordinator even as he appealed to security agents to bring the culprits to book.
The man also reported the matter to his kindred in Ukwuagba who mobilized youth and went on rampage, burning houses of some persons suspected to be involved in the killing of the native doctor.
