Kidnappers Of Clark's Son Demand N50 Million Ransom For His Release

The kidnappers of statesman Chief Edwin
Clark's son demand about N50 million ransom
for the release of Ebikeme Clark .
According to Delta State police, they have
already arrested several suspects and intend to
uncover their hideout soon.
Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba
insisted that no ransom should be paid, adding
that one of the arrested men confessed to
having participated in the kidnap planning.
Aduba said the kidnap was carried out by Ijaw
kinsmen of Edwin Clark and the police would
burst the syndicate.
It would be recalled that Ebikeme Clark was
abducted on Wednesday evening by 7 armed
men at Kiagbodo in Burutu LGA, Delta State.
